Heaps of Worms is the newest show from Longyard Sideshow's Great Big Storybook, currently in pre-production and expeceted to begin touring in mid 2011.

Heaps of Worms explores the themes of healthy eating, recycling, the compost cycle and how to build your own worm farm and backyard veggie patch. Kids will learn about reducing their carbon footprint, and the links between diet, exerzise and obesity. The shows messages are delivered through the giant, popup puppet storybook, and exquisitley hand-crafted set for the storytelling, music, and interaction with the audience that brings this story to life.

Heaps of Worms is ideal for school groups or community centers to teach kids and their families about the benefits of healthy, home grown food, and provide them with the know-how to get started on their own backyard adventure.
